Finally, here are this week’s postings:

This week’s blog is all about habits - again! Making the changes you want to in your life starts with setting up a practice and practicing purposefully. I share my dailies in this week’s blog.

This is true whether you want to improve your health, relationships or spiritual connection. Only a practice will lead to growth.

Ryder Carroll’s book was instrumental in my dot journal organization and commitment to my dailies. A great reference if you want to start journaling your life.

Do your part to CHANGE THE WORLD plus Tuesday's Workshop

CHANGE THE WORLD!

You read the book and now you want to gift it to your friends and family. I am no longer selling it on my site but you can pre-order at Amazon. This does two things: 1. It shows Amazon this is a book worth carrying and 2. You are making a difference in the lives of your loved ones by gifting them something that only improves their world and in turn ours! Purchase your pre-orders and share the link! Thank you.

The little Guide to Finding Our Lost Souls Workshop - it’s time to do the work!

Offering only one workshop - Begins Tuesday 3/8 at noon!

You’ve read the book and now it is time to do the work! Together we will navigate the practices using accountability, questioning, and self-reflection in a supportive environment. Your newfound spiritual practices will unfold and guide you to a more soulful life.

Week 1: Awaken to the Observer through Influenced Self identification.

Week 2: Identify the roles attachment, judgment and control have in your life and how you can release them to become letting go, acceptance and surrender.

Week 3: We will work through what it means to live with intention, uncovering your gifts and how to bring them to the world.

We will meet via Zoom. You will, of course, be welcomed to join The little Guide to Finding Our Lost Souls Facebook group to continue to support each other where you can post questions or comments. Reserve your spot today. Space is limited to eight participants per group. Cost: $75. Sign up here

You've read the book - now let's do the WORK!

THREE WEEK PRACTICE WORKSHOP

So many people curled up over the weekend and read my first book, The Little Guide to Finding Our Lost Souls. It’s one thing to read it, it’s another thing to DO IT! I’m offering a three-week workshop to help you do just that. We will meet once a week, on either a Tuesday or a Thursday, via Zoom and work through the journal prompts, holding each other accountable while giving each other space for whatever arises. This is the perfect complement to reading the book. This will help you jump-start your newfound spiritual practices and you will be thrilled to see how they change your life. More spiritually connected to everyone and everything - a life lived on purpose! Begins the week of March 7. Limited to 8 per group. Sign up today! Check out all the details here.

READ, REVIEW, RECOMMEND, REWARD!

When you review the book on my site (only for those who purchased it through the site, unfortunately), on Amazon, or share the purchase book link on FB, let me know and I will send you a small treat. I deeply appreciate your support on this next-level marketing.

If you missed last Monday’s blog, here it is. It’s forced me to walk the talk all week long. The Universe has a way of doing that.

Be the first to read The little Guide to Finding Our Lost Souls!

Printing my new book is taking longer than expected but I don’t want to wait any longer to offer this workshop. Be the first to read the pre-released .pdf and to register for my Spiritual Workshop based on the book, which you WILL receive once it is printed. Make 2022 your most spiritually empowered year yet! By registering for the workshop, you’ll be one of the first to read and implement what I hope will be life-changing practices. I am limiting this workshop to 16 total participants - 8 per group. Check out all the details here. $200

In case you missed it, this week I talk about being a reformed enabler and how that title can seriously be tested with a weekend away with family. You can read my blog here.

Musings week of 11/14

Saw this as a FB ad and actually clicked on it (I’m sure this will change my feed). Signed up for it to encourage my watercolor practice. Looking forward to diving into her program. What will you dive into this week?

Been reading Everything is Spiritual by Rob Bell. Favorite page.

A friend sent me this poem… Wow!

my brain and heart divorced (by John Roedel)

John Roedel

my brain and

heart divorced

a decade ago

over who was

to blame about

how big of a mess

I have become

eventually,

they couldn't be

in the same room

with each other

now my head and heart

share custody of me

I stay with my brain

during the week

and my heart

gets me on weekends

they never speak to one another

- instead, they give me

the same note to pass

to each other every week

and their notes they

send to one another always

says the same thing:

"This is all your fault"

on Sundays

my heart complains

about how my

head has let me down

in the past

and on Wednesday

my head lists all

of the times my

heart has screwed

things up for me

in the future

they blame each

other for the

state of my life

there's been a lot

of yelling - and crying

so,

lately, I've been

spending a lot of

time with my gut

who serves as my

unofficial therapist

most nights, I sneak out of the

window in my ribcage

and slide down my spine

and collapse on my

gut's plush leather chair

that's always open for me

~ and I just sit sit sit sit

until the sun comes up

last evening,

my gut asked me

if I was having a hard

time being caught

between my heart

and my head

I nodded

I said I didn't know

if I could live with

either of them anymore

"my heart is always sad about

something that happened yesterday

while my head is always worried

about something that may happen tomorrow,"

I lamented

my gut squeezed my hand

"I just can't live with

my mistakes of the past

or my anxiety about the future,"

I sighed

my gut smiled and said:

"in that case,

you should

go stay with your

lungs for a while,"

I was confused

- the look on my face gave it away

"if you are exhausted about

your heart's obsession with

the fixed past and your mind's focus

on the uncertain future

your lungs are the perfect place for you

there is no yesterday in your lungs

there is no tomorrow there either

there is only now

there is only inhale

there is only exhale

there is only this moment

there is only breath

and in that breath

you can rest while your

heart and head work

their relationship out."

this morning,

while my brain

was busy reading

tea leaves

and while my

heart was staring

at old photographs

I packed a little

bag and walked

to the door of

my lungs

before I could even knock

she opened the door

with a smile and as

a gust of air embraced me

she said

"what took you so long?"
